Cookies Policy

Clearview Mortgage Solutions Limited uses cookies on its website to help improve functionality, analyse website usage and enhance the user experience. Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and remember certain information about your visit.

How We Use Cookies

  • We use cookies to:

    • Ensure our website operates effectively
    • Monitor and analyse website traffic and usage
    • Improve website performance and navigation

What we do not use cookies for

We do not use cookies to identify you personally, and we do not use cookies to collect sensitive or financial information.

Types of Cookies We Use

We group cookies into three categories. Only the first is set automatically; the other two are set only if you agree to them.

  • Strictly necessary — always active

    • cv_consent — records your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every page. Expires after 6 months.
    • Form progress — where you have part-completed a quote form, your answers are stored in your browser so you do not lose them. This never leaves your device until you submit.
  • Analytics — only with your consent

    • _ga, _ga_*, _gid, _gat (Google Analytics) — count visitors and show how people move around the site, in aggregate. Expire between 1 day and 2 years.
    • We also use Vercel Analytics, which measures page views without setting any cookies or storing anything on your device, and so does not require your consent.
  • Marketing — only with your consent

    • _fbp, _fbc (Meta) — measure which of our adverts lead to enquiries, and allow us to show ads to people who have visited the site before. Expire after 90 days.

Managing Cookies

When you first visit the site we ask whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. Nothing in those two categories is set unless you accept. If you reject them, or change your mind later, any cookies already placed in the category you turned off are deleted.

You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking all cookies may affect how parts of this website work.

Relationship to Our Privacy Policy

Any personal data collected through the use of cookies is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal data, as well as your rights under data protection law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legislation, technology or our business practices. Any updates will be posted on this page.
