Results are indicative; actual lending depends on lender criteria, credit history and property type.

How Much Can You
Afford to Borrow?

Lenders typically calculate how much you can borrow based on a multiple of your annual income — usually between 4 and 4.5 times your salary. However, this can vary depending on your circumstances, the lender, and current market conditions.

Your borrowing capacity is also affected by your existing financial commitments. Lenders will assess your outgoings including credit cards, loans, childcare costs, and general living expenses to ensure you can comfortably afford the repayments.
